Valentines Gift Guide For Him
I absolutely love gift-giving. It’s a skill of mineโknowing what’s fashionable and “in,” while also understanding the unique tastes and preferences of the giftee. Growing up as one of six children with extremely varying likes and personalities has helped me hone this skill. Thatโs why Iโve put together this gift guide on what to give your boyfriend for Valentineโs Day!
Are They Picky? Iโve Got You Covered!
If your special someone is picky, stick to classic colors and prints. And for the love of all things good, steer clear of anything trendy or too experimental. How do I know this?
- My dad likes black and red, and insists that dress shirts have a breast pocket. If it doesn’t have one, he wonโt wear it.
- My brother Ben prefers green, and the material has to be super soft. No itchy tags allowed.
- My brother Alex is all about blue and only goes for standard styles.
- My brother Joshua is very fashionable and likes pretty much anything I buy for him. He’s the most open-minded when it comes to prints.
- My boyfriend loves newer styles but is extremely particular about colors and prints.
Let’s Start with Categories
When choosing a gift, think of clothing, accessories, and cologne. Unless theyโve specifically mentioned they want something like a power tool or a book (or whatever that “perfect” gift is), you canโt go wrong with clothes, accessories, and fragrance.
For accessories, consider items like sunglasses (Ray-Bans are always a win), hats, shoes, jewelry, wallets, etc. Nordstrom Rack is a great place to find these items.
For clothing and cologne, I typically shop at Nordstrom, Macyโs, and Dillardโs. They carry reliable brands like Nike, AllSaints, and Topman. Plus, you can also find grooming products that they might like or need!
Here are my 2025 Picks!
