What would make me want to start a lifestyle blog?! Well, I’ve been writing since I was a little girl, stories and poems, and even a newspaper that I formed with my younger sisters for our family that we put out on a monthly basis for a few years.
In college I worked as a wedding planner and started a website, (no longer active) and brand called “Present and Event” where I blogged on wedding and event DIY, and coordinated 20+ weddings.
Two years after graduating college in 2017 I started my YouTube channel, Jessica Jones Tutorials. Before my divorce in early 2019, I was going through a really challenging time in my marriage, and filming my beauty YouTube channel became such a therapeutic escape. I loved unboxing my Sephora and Ulta hauls, experimenting with new products, and discovering different makeup styles to share with my audience. It was a creative outlet that brought me so much joy during a tough chapter of my life.
