Salon Ready Blowout in 30 minutes!
I recently created a tutorial on how to achieve a voluminous and glamorous hair blowout at home.
While I am not a professional stylist and have never formally studied hair styling, my experience over the years has taught me valuable techniques.
Between helping my two sisters with their prom hairstyles, following YouTube tutorials, and observing my stylist, Noemi Longoria, for the past five years, I’ve picked up a few tricks along the way!
Although I’m still refining my skills, I’m confident that if I can achieve this look, anyone can.
Product Spotlight
If you’re wondering what products I was using in the video, I’ve put them down below for you and tagged them to make it easy to shop! (I am not currently affiliated with any of these brands)
Olaplex Hair Perfector is a weekly hair treatment I use to help with breakage, shine, softness and strength to my hair. If you have any sort of color or highlights, this will help hold it in and keep it from breaking.
Moroccan Oil Light – this helps with shine and frizz, and even though I already have fine hair, I do have a lot of waves which can cause that electrocuted look in humidity that isn’t super cute, and this helps SO much. Just run a tinyyyyyy bit through your ends, and never go within 5 inches of your roots.
Savings Tip Our resident hair stylist expert, Noemi Longoria at Simply Golden salon in Austin TX mentioned that we would get more bang for our bucks if we bought the Moroccan Oil regular bottle, and just used half the normal amount suggested, instead of buying the light as it’s just a thinner version. Thanks Noemi!
Bb Hairdressers Invisible Oil Primer is my go-to, time and time again heat protectant spray. Even if I’m not using a blowdryer or styling tools, I’ll spritz this through and tousle my hair and it gives it great body and smells 😤 so gooood.
