Q: Did you have any new year’s resolutions?
A: I like to have one none health & fitness related resolution which is to read more leadership & business based books. But also my fitness resolution is to build more muscle, get stronger & continue to decrease my body fat percentage.
Q: Why do you think that people typically aren’t successful with their new year’s resolutions or wait loss goals in general?
A: Because they try to do too much at one time. I think people try to change everything at one time and have a healthy lifestyle overnight but that’s not how it works. It’s important to make small habit changes into healthier habits over time!
Q. Every ladies favorite question. Favorite way to build the booty?
A: The best way to build a booty is to progressively overload your muscles. Meaning, each week that you can achieve a certain exercise, for example a barbell squat, for 10 – 15 reps with the same weight as the week before then it’s time to increase the weight on the exercise while reducing the reps (down past 10 reps) with the goal to work back up to 10 – 15 reps which will result in building muscle & growing a booty!

Best Booty Exercises
- barbell squats
- barbell deadlifts
- dumbbells lunges
- machine or barbell hip thrusts
- glute blasters
- leg curls
- and any plyometric training such as jump squats, squat jacks
- lunge jumps
- box jumps
Q. How do you empower the women you train?
A: I empower my female clients by leading them to exercise & eat healthy for the right reasons. The intention of exercise should be because you’re grateful your body can move, you want to feel good, accomplish something just for yourself, release endorphins hormones, or just be active because you get to. Society has led with this “skinny is healthy” marketing and that’s just not true. In fact, plenty of my female clients have the same goal.
They want to achieve a lean & strong body but the internet & unethical marketing has told us for years that women should only do cardio, if you lift weights you’ll just get “bulky” and only eat 1,200 calories a day or less. I can’t even count how many times I’ve had conversations with my female clients who want to get “tone” but think it’s through eating less & doing more cardio.
I really have to retrain their mindset & show them the real science behind lifting heavy weights & eating more will actually help them achieve the body of their dreams.
